If your child is receiving reading support at school, or you've been contacted with concerns about literacy development, you may be left asking questions like:

What We Offer

Our parent literacy consultations are designed to provide thoughtful, practical guidance grounded in research-based reading instruction and current school intervention practices.

We offer:

• Review of School-Based Assessments: Including universal screening data, progress monitoring reports, and comprehensive evaluations related to special education eligibility.
• IEP Reviews: A detailed review of your child's Individualized Education Program, with specific feedback on reading goals, services, and instructional alignment.
• IEP Meeting Attendance (Literacy Expertise): We attend meetings as literacy experts to provide background information, clarify terminology, and offer evidence-based suggestions aligned with structured literacy practices.
• Guidance on Reading Intervention & Next Steps: Support in understanding intervention models, instructional approaches, and whether additional assessment may be helpful.

In some cases, a comprehensive literacy assessment through Early Literacy Labs may be recommended to provide deeper insight and inform instructional planning.
